High-Protein Bagels

High-Protein bagels are a quick alternative to classic bagels, made with flour, yogurt, salt, and baking powder. Ready in just 40 minutes.

High-Protein Bagels
Protein bagels are an excellent alternative to classic bagels if you want to increase your protein intake while still enjoying a tasty meal. They’re perfect for breakfast, quick to bake, and delicious. They shouldn’t be compared to the authentic version, as they’re prepared in a completely different way, but they’re a great idea for a fast, balanced bread that we love to fill with cream cheese and smoked salmon or scrambled eggs.

Storing and freezing

We prefer to serve these bagels fresh, but they can also be stored in two ways:

Store them in a bread bag at room temperature for up to two days.

The bagels can be frozen once baked and completely cooled. Place them in a freezer bag and store in the freezer for up to 2 months. Before serving, let them thaw, then slice and toast them in a toaster.
